Retropolis 2025 Video Game Development Competition

RetroPolis Valencia 2025 #RPV25 is pleased to present the 3rd Edition of the RetroPaella Awards ’25, the major retro video game development competition for 8- and 16-bit platforms.

Contestants can submit a video game developed during the years 2024/25(regardless of whether it has been released or not). Therefore, it can be in any stage of development (alpha, beta, demo, final version), and can be a functional version on an emulator or a real-world machine.

The deadline for submitting video games is April 1, 2025.

The selected video games will be presented at Retropolis Valencia in a permanent exhibition on April 12; the awards ceremony will take place on the same day.
