Retropolis 2026 Video Game Development Competition
RetroPolis Valencia 2026 #RPV26 is pleased to present the 4rd Edition of the RetroPaella Awards ’26, the major retro video game development competition for 8- to 128-bit platforms.
Contestants can submit a video game that has not previously won a Retropaella award (regardless of whether it has been released or not). Therefore, it can be in any stage of development (alpha, beta, demo, final version), and can be a functional version on an emulator or a real-world machine.
The deadline for submitting video games is April 13, 2026.
The selected video games could be presented at Retropolis Valencia in a permanent exhibition on April 25; the awards ceremony will take place on the same day.
